Teeny tiny little post tonight, but I wanted to share these great intermediate anchor charts with you. Love, LOVE elapsed time on a number line. And making a chart is another great strategy. Enjoy!
Note: Talk about the power of Pinterest! I took these in a teacher’s classroom this week, but I need to give credit to her inspiration, Teaching with a Mountain View. 🙂
And for a related read aloud, grab Scaredy Squirrel! 😉

Awesome connection, Cindy! Thanks!
Great ideas!!!
I found this way on Pinterest last year and my kids loved it. http://pinterest.com/pin/282882420314062336/
Thanks for sharing that, Kelly! I’ve seen that one on Pinterest, too. 🙂
I love these charts! I have been teaching elapsed time for years, but this is the first year that I have done it using number lines. I will definitely be making some anchor charts like these!

Both the number lines and tables are great strategies that make it so visual for the kiddos!
I have time rulers, but I love these charts! I love visual strategies!!
