Earth Day Freebie–Three Addends Within 20

Written by Donna Boucher

Donna has been a teacher, math instructional coach, interventionist, and curriculum coordinator. A frequent speaker at state and national conferences, she shares her love for math with a worldwide audience through her website, Math Coach’s Corner. Donna is also the co-author of Guided Math Workshop.

I was inspired by two sources to create this little Earth Day freebie.  First, I had a TpT follower request that I create an activity for adding three addends (CCSSM 1.OA.2).  Next, I saw some of some Krista Wallden’s eye-catching graphics on Pinterest.  A match made in heaven!  BTW, I also bought her Earth Day Bears, and I’m going to be working on a whole unit that would compliment this freebie.

Click here to grab your freebie.  Please, PLEASE give it a nice rating if you download it! 🙂

Cool tech tip for the day.  Do you notice how nicely the colors I used for the cards compliment the colors in Krista’s clip art?  I use a website called Color Palette FX to do that.  You upload a picture and the website creates a palette for you!  Very cool.
